NATIONAL DEBT RECOVERY SERVICE

“NO WIN, NO FEE” PRE-LEGAL DEBT RECOVERY

We provide a national “No Win, No Fee” Pre-Legal Debt Recovery Service.

Once instructed we pass the case to our High Court Enforcement partners who then write to, email, phone and/or visit the debtor to either settle the debt in full or reach an agreed payment plan.

During this stage a pre-legal letter is sent to the debtor warning if they fail to make contact and agree to either settle the debt in full or reach an agreed payment arrangement further action will be taken. This action may include obtaining a County Court Judgment (CCJ) or other enforcement action.

If no meaningful contact or payment is made during this 7 to 14 day pre-legal period we will then help you through the process of taking further action, if appropriate, and not limited to obtaining a CCJ (County Court Judgement).

Fee for Debt Recovery is 15% of whatever we collect.

“NO TRACE, NO FEE” TENANT TRACING

We provide a national “No Trace, No Fee” National Tenant Tracing Service.

A tenant may leave a property at the end of the tenancy without providing a forwarding address.

A number of these will have built up significant debts to the landlord such as not paying rent, legal costs or property damage.

Some tenants deliberately withhold providing a forwarding address in an attempt to avoid making payment. Moving without leaving a “digital footprint” is now very difficult. Our highly skilled trace team locate absconded tenants, and we then proceed with debt recovery action.

OBTAINING A COUNTY COURT JUDGMENT (CCJ)

After the Pre-Legal phase the next stage in the legal process is to issue court proceedings via the County Court to obtain a County Court Judgment (a CCJ).
This is a formal process where the debtor will be sent a form from the County Court requiring them to pay the debt and costs within 14 days.
Our specialist High Court Enforcement solicitors will obtain a County Court Judgment (CCJ) for you.

Our Fee for obtaining a County Court Judgment (CCJ) is £400, plus the relevant court fee.
